Meet the Owners
Chairo Nekoshi, also known by the moniker The Tranquil Tiger, is an imposing man in both stature and reputation. His origins are shrouded in mystery. As the half-Auspice son of the Tiger Lord, he is blessed with superhuman strength and agility.Taken from his home in Doma by the Ruby Sea slavers as a child, he was sold to a wealthy Hingan shipwright and forced into hard labor. One day, while a nobleman was inspecting the progress on his private yacht, he witnessed Chairo’s hidden power firsthand—watching in awe as the young man singlehandedly pushed the massive ship off the drydock and into the harbor. Enamored and intrigued by his strength, the Hingan lord purchased Chairo and had him trained in the Tiger Lotus style of martial arts, favored by the militarized clans of the Bakufu.Chairo soon became a prized fighter in Hingashi’s underground combat arenas. He fought relentlessly, and many men fell to his claws. As the years passed, his matches became fewer and fewer, until eventually, there was no one left willing to challenge him. Left to rot in his quarters, he finally resolved to escape his horrific life. Using his connections with the wealthy shipwright, he secured passage to Ul’dah, where he spent years adventuring, learning patience, and mastering control over his power.With all he had learned, he created The Tranquil Tiger — a sanctuary where the weary could find solace, and where all, regardless of birth or status, could feel a true sense of belonging.
Neko’sae was a small, timid boy who grew up amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Old Sharlayan. Quiet and reserved, he preferred to observe rather than speak, always careful to stay out of trouble. However, curiosity and a longing for adventure stirred within him, pushing him beyond the familiar shores of his homeland. One day, he set sail into the unknown, arriving in Limsa Lominsa at the age of 18, ready to carve out a new path for himself.To survive in this unfamiliar land, Neko’sae took on work at various venues, blending into the vibrant yet unpredictable nightlife of Eorzea. It was during this time that he met Chairo Nekoshi, a towering figure of both strength and wisdom. Their connection was immediate — Chairo’s quiet discipline complemented Neko’sae’s reserved nature, while Neko’sae’s presence became a source of stability for the warrior still learning to temper his power. What began as friendship quickly grew into an unbreakable bond, one forged through mutual understanding and shared ambition.Together, they founded The Tranquil Tiger, a bathhouse and club designed to balance serenity and excitement. For Neko’sae, it was a place where he could finally step out of the shadows and embrace the life he had longed for, and for Chairo, it was a sanctuary where he could master the balance between power and peace.
